The Landover lease runs through 2027; the team plans to play there until the new D.C. stadium opens in 2030.

Commanders games: SeatGeek Legends Plaza and the Merrill Touchdown Club open 3 hours before kickoff; general stadium gates open 2 hours before kickoff.

Parking

Pre-purchased passes are required on stadium property except the Gray Lot, and a pass is valid only for the lot printed on it. Buy on SeatGeek; prices vary by game and are not listed on the official pages. Use Waze with your lot name, not the stadium, as the destination. The stadium recommends arriving about 3 hours before kickoff. Lots close 2 hours after the event ends.

Red Zone Lot

Opens 5 hours before kickoff (other lots open 4). Preferred for tailgating, with wider spaces for larger vehicles. Also holds the rideshare lot. Pre-purchased pass required.

Lot A (Black, Gold) and Limo Lot A

Pre-purchased pass required. Limos must buy an A-Limo pass and enter from Garrett Morgan Road.

Lot D (Burgundy, Gold)

Pre-purchased pass required.

Lot E (Black, Gold)

Designated accessible parking lot; enter from Sean Taylor Road. State disability placard or plate plus a pre-paid pass required.

Lot F (Black, Burgundy, Gold)

Pre-purchased pass required.

Lot G (Burgundy, Gold)

Pre-purchased pass required.

Lot H (Burgundy, Gold)

Designated accessible parking lot; enter from Garrett Morgan Road. No tailgating in H-Burgundy.

Gray Lot

The only cash lot; cannot be pre-purchased; first come, first served; can sell out 2 to 3 hours before kickoff. Reached by turning left onto Brightseat Road from the north. Some accessible parking, with wheelchair-lift shuttles to the stadium.

Bus/RV Lot

RVs and buses need a Bus/RV pass and enter from Sean Taylor Road. Vehicles over 17 x 7 feet must buy an RV pass.

Metro and rideshare

Morgan Boulevard

Blue, Silver lines. Walk, about 1 mile (about 20 minutes). No shuttle from the station except pre-booked MetroAccess vans, which drop off and pick up at Gates A and E.

Downtown Largo

Blue, Silver lines. Walk. WMATA lists it with Morgan Boulevard as the closest stations and says the walk can take more than 20 minutes. During extended late-night service after some games and concerts, these two are the only entry stations.

Rideshare

Lyft-powered rideshare lot inside the Red Zone Lot; all pick-ups and drop-offs happen there. Drivers enter and exit through the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex (Harvey Drive and Sheriff Road); for drop-off, set the destination to 8001 Sheriff Rd. About a 5-minute walk from Gate A. The stadium advises against requesting a post-game pickup at the stadium (drivers often decline in the traffic) and suggests Metro or a pickup a stop or two away. Friends and family picking up should also use the rideshare lot.

Tailgating

Allowed in all lots except H-Burgundy and team/staff lots. Lots open 4 hours before the start (Red Zone 5 hours). Tailgating must end by kickoff; anyone without a ticket still in the lots after the start is treated as a trespasser. Not allowed: oversized vehicles over 17 x 7 feet without an RV pass, drones, selling food, drinks or merchandise, and blocking drive lanes, parking spaces or crosswalks. Every person needs a ticket or parking pass for that day. Put out grills before going in (ash dumpsters provided) and take down tents and canopies. Lots close 2 hours after the event.
