About HailDC
What HailDC is
HailDC is an independent, fan-run news hub for Washington football. It brings the whole Commanders conversation into one place: reporting from local and national newsrooms, beat writers on X, video, podcasts, live odds, contracts, the cap, the draft and franchise history.
Editorial standards
HailDC links to original reporting and never rewrites or republishes another outlet's story. Every headline names its publisher and opens the publisher's page. Data pages name their source on the page. Rumors are labeled by their outlet, not repeated as fact.
How sources are checked
News comes from established outlets' public feeds, filtered to Commanders stories. X accounts are checked against at least one public source before they are listed. Contracts come from OverTheCap; stats, scores and lines from ESPN, nflverse, Action Network, Kalshi and Polymarket. Researched facts carry their sources on the page.
Corrections
Linked stories update when their publisher corrects them, within 10 minutes. If a HailDC page gets a fact wrong, email hail@haildc.com and it is fixed on the next build.
Ownership and funding
HailDC is independently owned and fan-run. It takes no money from the Washington Commanders or the NFL and is not affiliated with either. Some links to sportsbooks, prediction markets and ticket sites may become affiliate links; they never change the odds, prices or facts shown.
Bylines
HailDC does not publish original reporting yet. The reporter's byline lives on the original story, one tap away.
