Compensatory picks
No 2027 or 2028 compensatory picks exist yet for any team. The NFL awards 2027 compensatory picks (end of rounds 3 to 7, based on unrestricted free agents lost and signed in 2026) around March 2027; 2028 comp picks follow 2027 free agency. Washington received no compensatory picks in the 2026 draft. No Resolution JC-2A pick is pending for Washington: JC-2A gives a third-round pick in each of the next two drafts when a club's minority staffer is hired as another club's head coach or GM, and the only JC-2A pick in the 2026 draft was Detroit's (for Aaron Glenn), so no 2026 hire carries over to 2027. Washington could gain one only if one of its staffers is hired that way in the 2027 cycle.
